OUR MISSIONARY PARTNERS

Yolivette Vivas & Timothy Ndaiga

Yolivette Vivas, otherwise known as Yoli,  is an American missionary from Houston, TX, who has served Love Africa Mission as Ministry Coordinator since 2016 and has served through Love Africa Mission as a team member and a Core Team leader since 2015. Yoli met Timothy while serving with Love Africa in Kenya in 2016. Timothy Ndaiga is a Kenyan pastor with the Africa Inland Church (AIC). The two are engaged to be married in the summer of 2018.

The Lord has given both Yoli and Timothy a passion for current and future generations of Kenyans. Their sole desire in choosing to live in Kenya full-time is to invest their lives in what God is already doing there. Their heart is to minister to young and old in the community of Kenya, with a focus on breaking the cycle of poverty through reaching the children and youth.

Yoli and Timothy feel called to help children and young people to succeed by learning what it means to live in freedom, to dream big, and to walk in the Lord’s call even when it looks impossible.

Their main focus in ministry will be serving the local church where Timothy is the senior pastor as well as partnering with Southern Cross Academy, and by helping facilitate short term teams with Love Africa Mission.

Brent Roberts

Brent Roberts joined Nathan Smith Ministries as board secretary in January 2018 and has been asked to lead Love Africa Mission as Chief Operations Officer.  Before joining NSM, Brent, with his wife Kerri and their children, served as missionaries in Zambia, Africa, for 7 years. There Brent trained and discipled local leaders, oversaw the financial administration of the ministry and, along with friends, Luke and Elise Whitfield, started Eleeo Project – a partner ministry of Love Africa Mission.

In addition to his experience in missions, Brent has undergraduate and masters degrees in business and over 13 years experience in business analysis and consulting.  He hopes to use his education, skills and experiences to expand the footprint of Love Africa and to expose more students to the privilege of loving and serving the Lord abroad!

Brent will initially join Love Africa as a support-raising missionary and needs your help to make this transition a reality.  Would you consider financially partnering with Brent and his family so that he can join our team?

Our desire is that every person that serves on a short-term trip with us will come home with a clear vision and a pure passion to serve right where they live.
