To establish the church as

the center of African communities.

Love Africa Mission exists to support our African ministry partners with the evangelism and discipleship of their people. We do this by sharing the love and hope of Jesus through supporting the efforts and programs of our partners.

Statement of Faith

As a Christian mission organization, we believe in Jesus Christ as the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).

The Bible

The Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, is without error, and written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:20-21). We affirm that Scripture is true, it is the final and supreme authority for all matters of faith and life, and it is sufficient for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness (Isaiah 8:20; Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).

God

God eternally exists as one being in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Revelation 1:8; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Psalm 145:13). He is the living, sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things—perfect in holiness, love, justice, and power (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 145:17; Isaiah 40:28).

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. God became man, conceived by virgin birth through the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35; Matthew 1:23). He lived a sinless human life (Hebrews 4:15; 1 Peter 2:22) and obediently died upon the cross as the substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of all mankind (1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21). He arose from death three days later, ascending to Heaven (Luke 24:6-7; Acts 1:9-11), and will return personally and visibly to Earth again someday to pass judgment upon the living and dead thus eternally fulfilling God’s plan to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 19:16; Acts 17:31).

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and the need for salvation, and guides believers into truth. (John 16:8, 13). He regenerates and indwells all who trust in Christ (Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 6:19), empowers holy living and gospel witness (Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:16) and distributes spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church (1 Corinthians 12:4-7).

Humanity

We are made in the image of God. Mankind is the supreme object of His creation. We are created unalterably as either male or female in both nature and identity (Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16). We are distinct and complementary by design (Genesis 2:18-24). We believe that marriage is ordained by God as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy is to be expressed only within that covenant (Matthew 19:4-6; Hebrews 13:4).

The Fall

Sin entered the world through the first man, Adam, who chose to disobey God by eating the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil alongside his wife, Eve.  This act of disobedience brought sin, death, and separation between mankind and God (Isaiah 59:2; Romans 3:23). All creation was affected by disease and death from this disobedient act (Romans 5:12). All people are therefore sinners by nature and by choice and are in need of redemption (Psalm 51:5; Romans 6:23). God sought and corrected Adam and Eve providing consequences for their sinfulness, but also blessed them - promising faithfulness through a Deliverer who would free the people of sin (Genesis 3:15).

Salvation

Salvation is a gift of God’s grace and is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9) and cannot be earned by works (Titus 3:5; Romans 4:5). True saving faith is evidenced by repentance, obedience, and a transformed life (James 2:17; Acts 26:20; Galatians 2:20).

The Church

The Church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers from every tribe, tongue, and nation (1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 4:4-6). The Church is called to worship God (John 4:24), proclaim the gospel (Matthew 28:19-20), make disciples (Acts 1:8), build up believers in truth and love (Ephesians 4:11-16), and equip leaders for faithful ministry (2 Timothy 2:2). He commissions us to walk in a life of self-denying love and in service of good works reflecting His glory and preparations (Philippians 2:3-4).
